ICD Brookfield has signed a pre-let agreement for a 15,000-sq-ft dining and entertainment destination on its site, ICD Brookfield Place, with one of Dubai's leading food and beverage firms, Bull&Roo Hospitality Investments.
ICD Brookfield is a joint venture between the Dubai Investment Corporation (ICD), Dubai government's key investment arm, and Brookfield Asset Management, a leading global alternative asset manager with approximately $550 billion in real estate, infrastructure, renewable energy, private equity, and credit assets under management.
ICD Brookfield Place, located in the DIFC, which is a 1.1 million-sq-ft office and retail complex designed by world-renowned Foster & Partners architects.
The world-class property has all the main themes of the popular placemaking ethos of Brookfield Properties, concentrating on history, well-being, sustainability and experience.
The building is set to become one of the region's most popular business and leisure destinations, with over four acres of curated dining, retail and community space including a lively public realm animated with public arts and activities along with an exclusive private member club, The Arts Club from London.
The company will introduce a revolutionary and groundbreaking concept, The Guild, with social responsibility and grassroots at the centre of Bull&Roo, which will house eight separate home-grown brands, each with its own identity and vision.
Opening in 2021, the Guild is inspired by a mediaeval artisan and merchant association and will be home to a dining experience like no other.
Cementing Bull&Roo 's reputation as a pioneer of innovative ideas in the area, each brand will have a talented chef at the helm, ensuring that food quality, high-quality goods and traceability remain at the heart of the project.
The Investment Director of ICD Brookfield, Ben McGregor, said: "Innovative and exciting ideas are core components of good place-making. With a long-standing ambition to be more than just a great place to work, we have carefully curated all elements of the project's environment to address the full spectrum of people's daily lives. We are excited to associate with Bull&Roo where we will create a truly unique culinary destination that can only be experienced at ICD Brookfield Place"
Recently the doors to the 53-storey state-of-the-art Leed Platinum ICD Brookfield Place has been recently opened to the public and the first wave of tenants.
"The Guild is my dream come true; I've built my entire career on it. And I can't wait to see it come alive at ICD Brookfield Place." said Tom Arnel, Managing Director Bull&Roo, Hospitality and Investments.
"This is the game time for Bull&Roo, giving us the chance to highlight the talent and creativity behind our brand. We are developing a new dining concept, unlike any other in Dubai, and the team is preparing to launch an all-encompassing experience," he added.
Congratulation!
