Celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal has confirmed rumors that he is all set to open a restaurant in Dubai. The restaurant is set to open in 2019 and will be located at the Royal Atlantis.  The restaurant will be named – Dinner By Heston Blumenthal and will follow in the footsteps of Mr Blumenthal’s previous establishment “The Fat Duck”, known for its creative experimental dishes made famous globally by Mr. Blumenthal.

It will be located in the hub of the Royal Atlantis Resort & Residences, which is a sister hotel to Atlantis the Palm, which is also scheduled for opening in 2019.

Dinner by Heston Blumenthal is the first restaurant scheduled and announced to open at the hotel. It will include a dedicated bar, two outside terraces as well as a private dining room. The restaurant’s menu is expected to draw inspiration from its London branch with contemporary dishes and gastronomic recipes that date back to the 14^th century.

 “I am truly excited about opening in this incredible location”, said Heston. “It is not often that an opportunity in such a perfect space comes along. The backdrop is outstanding and the views of the Dubai skyline over the Arabian Gulf are quite unique. Ashley Palmer-Watts and I are looking forward to creating something quite special for our guests to enjoy”.
