Atlantis The Palm in collaboration with AmStur, an American caviar company on New Year’s Eve to break a Guiness World Record for the largest caviar tin the world.
The tin contained a serving of 50kg of caviar and decimated the previous record that weighed a meager 17kg in comparison back in 2016.
The caviar was served in a custom-designed diamond-shaped tin dubed ‘Cleito’ named after the goddess called ‘Mother of Atlantis’. The 98cm x 74cm tin was made of R16 stainless steel and was equipped frozen ice gel to ensure an optimal temperature.
An official adjudicator from Guinness World Records was at the event to act as judge. The event was attended by over 5000 guests. On completion of the judging process, the attempt was verified in adherence to official guidelines. Following which the Guinness World Record adjudicator confirmed a new world record.
Chief Operating Officer for Atlantis resorts and Residencies, Serge Zaalof was quoted saying, “We have thoroughly enjoyed this project we have embarked upon with our esteemed partner, AmStur Caviar and we are extremely proud to have achieved the impossible with the 50kg tin.”
Nicholas Narsavidze was also quick to render his thanks and best wishes too on accomplishing the record.
Congratulation!
