Modhesh World - one of the most popular indoor edutainment destinations in the region, has this year set up UAE’s largest indoor food park dedicated an entire zone for food and beverage (F&B) options featuring 23 food trucks and kiosks at Food Park DXB.
The new season of Modhesh World is staying true to its tradition of providing a holistic family-friendly entertainment option to a global audience in Dubai, said the event organisers.
With food and unique gastronomical concepts becoming an integral component of social outings, the theme park has unveiled the country’s largest indoor ‘food park’ featuring a cluster of food trucks and kiosks that serve up fresh, delicious and pocket-friendly meals, they stated.
The Food Park DXB zone occupies 5,500 sq m of Hall 1 at the Dubai World Trade Center, covering almost 25 per cent of the 23,000- sq-m-large amusement park.
The dedicated culinary zone features 23 restaurants and a wide variety of food options, from indulgent burgers and pizzas to savoury snacks, ice creams and refreshing juices.
According to the organisers, restaurants at ‘Food Park DXB’ are catering to all members of the family and are designed to suit the palate of a global visitor profile.
This is the first time ever that Modhesh World has dedicated an entire zone for food and beverage options, thereby illustrating its commitment to strengthening its offerings and ensuring the highest level of satisfaction and happiness for visitors, it added.
Taimoor Khan, the executive director, Now Events, said: "Modhesh World is now in its 18th year and each edition brings with it renewed expectations from our loyal visitors who look forward to improved and exciting attractions. We are delighted that this new and fresh proposition has come in the form of Food Park DXB."
"Over the years, Dubai has proven to be a vibrant hub for unique and innovative culinary concepts, including the many food trucks and pop up kiosks that feature in newly-developed localities. With a curated selection of these concepts taking up an entire zone at Modhesh World, we are confident that family-fun will soar to new levels and boost our brand value. We welcome everyone to Modhesh World and urge our visitors to realize their inner-foodie at Food Park DXB," he noted.
Both established restaurant chains and new entrants that operate solely as standalone food trucks are featured at Food Park DXB, thereby stepping up choice and convenience.
Being region’s most sought-after destination for children presents a challenge of delighting their taste-buds whilst at the same time keeping them entertained for extended hours.
The best part is that all meals at Food Park DXB do not exceed Dh40 in value, and money can be uploaded on a special prepaid-enabled ‘keychain’ via a digital platform at the cash counter, said Khan.
Muskan Ohri, the creative director, Now Events, explains that the food park has been carefully designed and its restaurants expertly curated to leave a lasting trail of fun and memories.
"Food Park DXB was brought on board to strengthen Modhesh World’s F&B offerings and also remain coherent with the overall theme of the park. Our choice of restaurant reflects high quality, supreme taste and an emphasis on options that add value to children’s wellbeing. So, visitors can expect fruit juices and freshly prepared pasta with wholesome ingredients alongside typically children’s- favourite meals like shawarmas, pizzas and ice cream," he observed.
"We have a stringent quality control mechanism in place that ensures all produce and ingredients used at the park are fresh and replenished regularly. To round up a superb gastronomical experience, the zone has a soft play area and a cinema screen that plays popular animated flicks to keep the kids engaged and entertained. This is in keeping with Modhesh World’s commitment towards creating a festive atmosphere where families can spend quality time and go home with countless memories," he added.
Modhesh World runs till August 12 from 10am to 10pm (Saturday to Wednesday) and 10am till midnight on Thursday and 12pm to 1am on Fridays. Tickets are priced at Dh20 and kids under the age of two enter for free.
