Dubai, UAE: Over 25,000 people celebrated the UAE’s favourite food, drink and music festival as Taste of Dubai served up an unforgettable menu of the city’s culinary scene to visitors who attended the sun-kissed 10 year anniversary showpiece event over the weekend.
The event’s diverse food and beverage offerings, paired with world-class live entertainment, and activities for guests of all ages proved once again to be an enormous success, satisfying the Emirate’s appetite for spring outdoor fun.
A fiery-hot line-up of international celebrity heavy-weights including Michel Roux Jr, Gary Rhodes, Aldo Zilli, Eric Lanlard, Suzanne Husseini, Mohammad Orfali and
Tarek Ibrahim, Tim Anderson, Reza Mahmmad, Jenny Morris, Luke Thomas, Joshua Stanzle and Paolo Pettenuzzo delighted food lovers with top tips and techniques in the cookery school and chef’s theatre.
During the opening night, legendary soul and motown singer Billy Ocean performed all of his top hits including Love Really Hurts Without You, Caribbean Queen, When the Going Gets Tough and Get Outta My Dreams, Get into My Car on the main entertainment stage.
Twenty three of the city’s hottest restaurants took diners on a culinary journey with a tantalising array of flavours from Dubai’s cosmopolitan gastro-scene, including Ramusake, Weslodge, Big Easy Bar and Grill, Aubaine, Burger and Lobster, Carnival by Tresind, Catch, Namu, J&G Steakhouse, Cook Hall, Sonamu, Olea, The
Gramercy, Fratelli La Bufala, Abyat, Royal Orchid, Carluccios, Teatro, Cucina, Eately, GRK Fresh Greek, Lucky Voice, and Spice&Ice.

This year, the new Electrolux ‘Make life delicious’ programme gave visitors the opportunity to both learn, share and be inspired to try new ways to bring food to life.The Electrolux Chef’s Theatre in association with Etihad Airways hosted live demonstrations from a selection of the world’s best chefs, including Tim Anderson and Paolo Pettenuzzo, alongside local influencer Zahra Abdalla, satisfying all appetites during a sun-kissed weekend.
