More than 120 local, regional and international companies are all set to occupy 4,000-sq-m at the 21st Food, Hotel and Hospitality Arabia Exhibition which will take place on May 9 at the Jeddah Centre for Events and Forums in Saudi Arabia.
The annual event, which will run till May 12, has established itself as the sourcing platform in the largest food market in the GCC region (74 per cent) and with a value that is forecasted to reach $70 billion.
Zahoor Siddique, vice president of Al Harithy Company for Exhibitions (ACE) believes that the exhibition has played a pivotal role in cementing Saudi Arabia's status as a leading hub for food, hotel and hospitality.
He furthered noted that the exhibition aims to deliver more tastes, more trends and more trade when it opens its doors.
With its two-decade success story, Food, Hotel and Hospitality Arabia has become a regular event in the calendar of local and international companies and this year has the presence of leading Saudi companies and National Pavilions from China, Egypt, Turkey, Indonesia and South Africa alongside individual participation from India, Lebanon, Malaysia, Morocco, Pakistan, UAE and the US.
Features at the event include international gastronomical experiences, with local and international chefs participating at the Jeddah Open Cooking Championship. Coupled with this will be the fine art of table display competition at the Art de Table event.
The show is open from 4pm to 10 pm for businessmen and professionals only.
