(Heidelberg / Algiers) From 5 to 7 April 2016 the Palais des Expositions – SAFEX in Algiers opens its gates for plast alger & printpack alger 2016.  Being one of the most important plastics and packaging industry trade shows in Africa more than 160 exhibitors from 21 countries have registered for this bi-annual event. The show is organized by the German trade show specialists fairtrade and its German-Algerian team. More than 3,000 professional visitors are expected.

 

Over 160 exhibitors from 21 countries take the opportunity for making valuable business contacts at Algeria’s No. 1 innovation platform for the plastics and packaging industry. “plast & printpack alger 2016 is a truly international event”, so Martin März, managing director of the German trade show specialists fairtrade. The exhibitors come from 21 countries, namely from Algeria, Austria, Belgium, China, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tunisia, Turkey and the United Kingdom.

 

 

 

“Algeria together with South Africa and Egypt belongs to the three largest importers of plastics and packaging technology on the African continent. So it isn’t surprising that major market and technology leaders have confirmed their participation for plast & printpack alger 2016. This year we again expect more than 3,000 professional visitors at this bi-annual event”, added März.

 

Five national groups booked

 

In addition to individual exhibitors five national group-pavilions from Austria, France, Germany, Italy and Spain have booked.

 

plast alger enjoys the support of AHK - the German-Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and of the Spanish plastics association AVEP. Further trust is given by Advantage Austria supporting the Austrian pavilion and Business France hosting the official French pavilion for the first time.
