Attention all foodies: Not only is the Dubai Food Festival returning on February 25, but some very special celebrity chefs will be joining the celebrations as well.
Brace yourselves as Masterchef Australia judges George Calombaris and Gary Mehigan make their way to the UAE emirate for the 17-day event, along many other culinary celebrities.
TV host Manu Feildel of the hit Aussie show My Kitchen Rules will be jetting in for the festival too, accompanied by Melbourne restaurant star Shannon Bennett and Sydney-based restauranteur Matt Moran.
You're in for a real treat as these prestigious chefs will "take part in “Dining with the Stars” events; pop up for appearances at the Beach Canteen on Kite Beach, the hub of the festival; and lead interactive master classes at Scafa cookery school in JLT," reported Gulf News.
And as Dubai has always gotten us used to, there will be more to come, according to Laila Suhail, CEO of festival organiser Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment.
“This announcement is just one of many to come with the main objective being to drive more attention to the diverse culinary mosaic that Dubai, uniquely, offers to its visitors,” Suhail said in a statement on Monday. “We will continue to work closely with our partners within the restaurant sector in Dubai to ensure that they reap the benefits of this partnership and attract more visitors to Dubai.”
Congratulation!
