Belarus will present its export potential for the first time ever at the annual Middle East civil engineering expo Big 5 in Dubai, UAE, BelTA learned from representatives of Sohra Group. Sohra Group will present a wide range of Belarus-made machines and products during the International Building & Construction Show 2015 (aka Big 5).

The Big 5 expo is scheduled to take place in Dubai on 23-26 November. The international forum will gather hundreds of companies from all over the world, the region's most important real estate developers, contractors, importers and distributors. The forum will also feature national expositions of the largest exporting countries of the West and the East.

Belarus' exhibition stand will feature a wide range of machines and vehicles such as BelAZ, MAZ-MAN, MAZ, Belshina, Hors Motors, Irridio, Keramin and other brands. The Belarusian stand will exclusively feature the off-road vehicle BME-1015 made by MAZ-MAN. The vehicle is designed for difficult terrains such as tundra, sand, swamps and virgin snow.

BME-1015 can also cross water barriers. For now the off-road vehicle is available for sale inside the Customs Union. BME-1015 is an uncompromising option for cross-country transportation, said Sohra Group representatives. The Big 5 expo has been a business, information, and communication platform for the civil engineering industry, the gateway to the construction market of the Middle East and Africa for over 30 years.

It is one of the world's most significant civil engineering events. The expo will take place with assistance of the UAE Energy Ministry, the Economic Development Department, the UAE Society of Engineers and other agencies. The expo will take place in the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center (DICEC). In 2014 the Big 5 expo attracted over 80,000 visitors excluding 2,800 exhibitors from 65 countries. The expo occupied over 90,000m2. Sohra Group was founded in Belarus over 15 years ago.

The group focuses on shipping heavy industry products, transport and civil engineering products, automobiles, tractors, buses, agricultural machines, and food. Sohra Group opened its representative office Sohra Overseas in the free economic zone Jebel Ali in Dubai. Sohra Overseas is the main dealer in the Middle East and Africa for many Belarusian brands.
